Hanging Coffins of Sagada in Philippines

Burial in the hanging coffins - the ancient burial custom of the province of Sagada (Philippines).It is believed that the mountains are the stairs between this world and heaven. A coffin is made during the life of an elderly man, who is preparing for the other world, and if he is old or weak, then his children or relatives.
