Nothing Is Impossible

TEXAS, USA: Cody McCasland with his different sizes of prosthetic legs as he grows.Brave Cody McCasland is one of the fastest seven-year-olds around after having artificial running legs fitted like athlete Oscar Pistorius. Sports-fan Cody, who dreams of winning a gold medal in the Paraolympics, was born without any tibia or knee bones, and had to have the bottom half of his legs amputated as a toddler. But he is already proving himself an amazing athlete with a busy schedule of running, swimming, soccer, golf, karate and ice hockey as well as being a boy scout, playing the piano, learning to climb, jet-ski and fly a plane.PHOTOGRAPHY BY BARCROFT MEDIA LTDUK Office, London.T +44 845 370 2233W www.barcroftmedia.comAustralasian & Pacific Rim Office, Melbourne.E info@barcroftpacific.comT +613 9510 3188 or +613 9510 0688W www.barcroftpacific.comIndian Office, Delhi.T +91 997 1133 889W

The High Line Park in New York

The High Line is a 1-mile (1.6 km) New York City linear park built on a 1.45-mile (2.33 km) section of the former elevated New York Central Railroad spur called the West Side Line, runs along the lower west side of Manhattan; it has been redesigned and planted as an aerial greenway. The High Line Park currently runs from Gansevoort Street, one block below West 12th Street, in the Meatpacking District, up to 30th Street, through the neighborhood of Chelsea to the West Side Yard, near the Javits Convention Center. The recycling of the railway into an urban park has spurred real estate development in the neighborhoods which lie along the line.

The more we study watermelon, the more we realize just how incredible this fruit really is.

It’s full of antioxidants shown to reduce the inflammation that contributes to diabetes, asthma, atherosclerosis, colon cancer, and arthritis - but that’s not all.

Other beneficial ingredients in watermelon are known as Phytonutrients - which are naturally occurring compounds that are bioactive and able to trigger healthy reactions within our body.

1. Asthma – The antioxidants, such as Citrulline in watermelon can reduce toxins in the body. Some of these toxins are believed to trigger asthma attacks.

2. Arthritis – Watermelon is rich in Vitamin C and Beta-Carotenes. Both have anti-inflammatory properties that can help relieve the symptoms of arthritis.

3. Bladder Problems – Containing 92% water, this melon acts as a natural diuretic that cleanses your kidney and bladder.

4. High Cholesterol – The cleansing properties of watermelon may also reduce the risk of clogged arteries. The fruit is also believed to increase HDL (good cholesterol levels).

5. Constipation – A glass of watermelon juice can naturally eliminate waste and promote proper digestion.

6. Bloating – Again, the diuretic effect of watermelon can eliminate water retention. It is especially recommended for women who retain fluids during menstruation or pregnancy.

7. Heart Disease – Watermelon contains Folic acid and Citrulline that works in tandem with other essential vitamins. Some research indicates that these vitamins may reduce the risk of a heart attack, stroke and colon cancer.

8. Itchy Skin – As the water from the melon cleanses your system, it can flush out the toxic waste that cause some forms of itchiness.

9. Prostate Cancer – The Lycopene in watermelon has been extensively reported to reduce the risk of prostate cancer.

10. Blemishes – Watermelon can also be used as a beauty aid to reduce skin blemishes. Simply rub your skin with a small piece of watermelon. Leave the juice on for 10 minutes before rinsing.

5 Signs Your Girlfriend Is A Psycho

It's often difficult to gauge how crazy your girlfriend is, especially in the beginning of a relationship. The truth is, all chicks are nuts but here are five ways to know if she’s average crazy – or if you should sleep with one eye open and hide all the sharp objects in the house.

5. She Has More Than 3 Cats.

Face it. You’re dating the crazy cat lady. You know why all crazy cat ladies wind up living alone by the end of their lives? All of their ex-boyfriends are buried in the backyard.

4. She Keeps Tabs on You.

If your girlfriend is too clingy and texts and calls you non-stop, stalks you on Facebook, and e-mails you creepy love messages, it’s time to move to Montana. This is the girl that burns an effigy on your lawn if she finds out you lied to her about what you had for breakfast.

3. She Asks If You Will Ever Leave Her?

Any girl who does this before you’re married, or even after, is silently calculating the jail time she will have to do after running you down with a Jetta, if you leave her for someone else.

2. She is Way Too Jealous.

If she's ready to throw down with any woman you talk to, even the girl behind the counter at Starbucks, start working on that restraining order now.

1. She Recites Bible Quotes.

If she quotes John 3:16 when you ask her about her day, prepare for a lifetime of watching Mel Gibson films, protesting outside of free clinics, and attending Sarah Palin fundraisers.
